This past week I paid Maria to sort out my closets.
I gave her a lot of stuff inside them as well. So she’s going to organize my kitchen cabinets for the trade there.
Hopefully, then I can get to things I need more easily. Because I can only stand on my feet for a very short time before I have to sit back down on the rollator I have behind me.

This is the second time I’ve had her organize the closets. She does a fantastic job.
Overstretching:
This past week I had to cut back the part of my garden that was out by the sidewalk. Like the tall canna lily.
I suppose I overstretched while rolling the foot or so on my garden seat. So the only way I can think that I did that was stretching forward on my feet trying to reach things.
Later that day I began to have pain on the inside of my ankle. Later the pain began to go up my leg. With it hurting on both sides, it made it very difficult to walk at all.
So Steve brought his girlfriend’s late husband’s wheelchair over. I’ve been using it when the pain exceeds using the walker.
Greg told me yesterday not to even try to get to the parking lot.
Seems like I can’t do much of anything without hurting something else.
That sure gets old. My world keeps getting smaller and smaller. A lucky thing I love being at home.

Baking Brownies:
I made brownies on Friday. While they were cooling, all I had to do was stick my head out the patio door and yell to Peg: “I made brownies.”
She was outside cutting back her dead hydrangeas. “I’ll be right there,” she yelled back.
I texted Lisa about the brownies and she brought her plate so she could take the brownies home.
What I’m Cooking Today:
Today I’m cooking in the crock pot. It’s an easy recipe with only 3 ingredients I found at Gimme Some Oven.
Those ingredients are chicken breasts, salsa, and taco seasoning mix. I didn’t add as much salsa or as much taco seasoning as she used in her recipe.
As she mentioned, you can use shredded chicken in a lot of ways. Tacos, on salads, in burritos, on nachos, etc.
Peg’s Squirrels:
I call them Peg’s squirrels because she always feeds them peanuts in the shell and they follow her around.
They have begun to follow her when she walks over here. Yesterday one sat in one of the patio chairs waiting for her to come out.

Peg talks to her squirrels as if they are her pets. She doesn’t have any indoor pets, but she has her squirrels.
They’ve become pretty spoiled!
Peg adores Ivy. If something happens to me, it is Peg I have decided should take care of Ivy. We’ve discussed it and she said she’d be happy to do that.
Do you remember when Ivy gave a squirrel the stink eye from the patio door?
Ivy:

Ivy suddenly wants to sleep with her head cocked to one side against things. I don’t know why she began doing this.
I keep thinking she’s going to hurt her neck. But apparently, she doesn’t.
What I’m Watching/Streaming:

Last night I finished watching “Without Motive” on BritBox.
There is an investigation of the brutal murder of a young woman in Bristol. It threatens to tear the lead character’s family apart and change the course of his life forever.
The Bristol murder is linked to a series of recent killings, known as the ‘M4 Murders’.
The investigating team then grows to more than a dozen detectives trying to find the killer before he strikes again.
With little clue or pattern to suggest the identity of the killer, the team is forced to a race against time.
BritBox emails me about crime shows and mysteries that are currently streaming. That helps me to decide what to watch.
What I’m Reading:
I’m still reading “The Boy” by Tami Hoag. But I only have a few more chapters left.
