The Institute on Religion and Democracy hosted Wednesday Worship with Michael McDowell, a Pastoral Resident serving on the staff of The King’s Church of Washington, DC, who delivered IRD’s Wednesday Worship sermon this month on August 23.
McDowell is a native Texan and an alumnus of Rice University and United Methodist-affiliated Duke Divinity School. He has several years of ministry experience in youth and college ministries and is passionate about communicating the Gospel to young people in cities.
