Media Matters, a leftist group, has been releasing leaked video footage of Carlson.
Media Issues president and CEO Angelo Carusone issued a statement in response to the letter.
“Reporting on newsworthy leaked materials is a cornerstone of journalism. For Fox to argue in any other case is absurd and additional dispels any pretense that they seem to be a information operation.
